The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Private Law is responsible for contributing to the School of Private and Commercial Law’s teaching programs, research, and engagement activities, and to carry out the duties of a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in their field of expertise.
The School is particularly interested in applicants with research and teaching expertise in multiple areas of private law, especially equity and trusts and personal property law. The appointee is expected to develop and maintain a strong program of individual
research and to participate actively in the School’s research culture more generally, and to teach into private law courses in the faculty’s LLB and JD programs. At Senior Lecturer level the appointee will be expected to conduct high level research and make
a significant contribution to educational excellence in the School.
